Aly Loves People More Than Two

Last month, my sis-in-law and her friend, Jess came and stayed with us for the weekend. While we were watching TV, my youngest daughter, Aly who is 4 years old told Aunty Jess that she loves her. Aunty Jess replied that "I love you too". Immediately, Aly answered, "I love you five".

I Want A Table Lamp Not A Lamp-Post

One day, Cass who is 7 years old, visited her friend and noticed that her friend's bedroom has a table lamp placed at the side table near the bed. The next day, she asked her father to buy her a table lamp. Instead of saying table lamp, she said," Pa, can you buy me a lamp-post?" My husband knew what she wanted and so he said ok. That night, while on the way back home after dinner, we passed by a lamp-post and my husband asked her while pointing at the lamp-post, "Cass, is this the lamp-post you wanted?" Cass laughed and quickly said no. The father then told her that the one that she wanted is called table lamp and the one she saw on the road is called lamp-post.

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse

Cass and Aly like to watch the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse from the Disney Channel Network. The above are their first collection of the cartoon characters (Mickey, Donald, Minnie, Goofy and Pluto). The missing one is Daisy. They hope to have more of these collection in different type of design.

Barbie Doll Needs A Prince

Cass loves to dress up her barbie dolls. She has a charming prince poised with a bevy of beauties. Now, she wants a collection of prince to be the barbie dolls' partners.

Cute Little Bags From Vietnam

Recently, my niece came back from Hanoi, Vietnam for a holiday trip. She loves to buy gifts for my two daughters when she is on a holiday trip. She bought these two bags (knapsack) from the night market at Hanoi, Vietnam for them. The price of the bag is RM10.00 per piece. The material and the workmanship are of good quality. My niece mentioned that a similar bag is sold at RM30.00 at PJ night market. My two girls like the bag very much. The bags are lovely as they are very colourful and cute. The size of the bag is just right for children.

Never Too Late To Blog

Our former Prime Minister, Dr Mahathir Mohamad has recently created his blog under http://www.chedet.com/ as reported in Malaysiakini's website today (http://www.malaysiakini.com/). So far, as at now, his weblog has been viewed by 11,904 visitors. That's very fast. I have created my blog on 29 April 2008 and is about 2 days earlier than our former PM. Not too bad .... ah.... as a homemaker eventhough has only 27 entries. Besides refering from newspapers or malaysiakini's website on news from our former PM, we can now go to his website. But not many people have access to internet, so hopefully those hot issues will also be reported in the newspapers.
